ABOUT
Concept — a stone-clad office block on a tram-lined boulevard, to be shown as a working address rather than an empty facade. The brief was occupancy: make it read as a building people are already in.
Execution — dusk, the ten minutes when interior light beats the sky. Warm floors lit unevenly, desks and figures visible through the glazing, so every window is a small piece of evidence that the building works. Wet asphalt, long car trails and bare autumn trees put the building into a real city and a real hour instead of a neutral render day. Travertine modelled with visible course lines so the stone keeps its weight at close range.
Delivered — a wide corner view plus vertical crops of the facade and the entrance, all from the same scene and the same light. Built in 3ds Max with Corona Renderer, finished in Photoshop.
