Newcross Healthcare was founded in 1996 by Michelle Gorringe and Stephen Pattrick. Their vision was simple; to raise standards in care provision and to deliver the most trusted, reliable service in the UK. Drawing on clinical expertise and management acumen, they were driven by a heartfelt belief that ‘there must be a better way’. Striving for the very best was a guiding principle for both the treatment of staff and those for whom they care. Today, Newcross continues to grow and has evolved from a collection of branches to a sophisticated network of local centres with the very best staff. I was asked to design an employee handbook and an establishment brochure. Using the new re-brand logo and colour palette I opted for a simple approach, using white space as a clinical tool and inspirational imagery to create a whole ‘new’ look and feel to a standard employee handbook. I wanted the new establishment brochure to have the same look and feel, as if they were/are part of the same family of publications.
