In 2016 Newcross Healthcare relocated their operations to their Bristol office. They were keen to add a bit of pizazz to their new surroundings so I was asked to visually highlight the company’s philosophy of care through their committed nursing staff, fantastic admin support
facilities and cutting-edge technology, whilst giving their office the ‘wow’ factor in the eyes of visiting clients. The result was an entirely bespoke, ‘pop art-esque’ wall mural depicting a day in the life of Newcross.

The entire artwork was hand drawn in Adobe Illustrator, using contemporary vector graphics and vibrant block colour (subtly integrating the Newcross brand colours, blue and orange). The nursing staff and back-end support have been transformed into characters in a large-scale graphic novel, incorporating iconic elements like a revolving door and illustrated onomatopoeia such as ‘POW’, ‘WHAM’ and ‘WHOOSH’. This acted as a large colourful teaching aid, an educational tool that operations teams could adhere to as they wish.
