I was asked to create a couple of short animation videos for the Herts for Learning -
Improving Progress in Mathematics Project and Phonics focuses on supporting schools to improve progress and attainment across the Primary phase.

The Herts for Learning Enhancing Learning and Improving Progress in Maths focuses on supporting schools to improve progress across Key Stage 2.

The project has two key strands:
• leadership
• teaching & Learning

The video focuses upon ensuring that leadership is strategic and acts robustly in challenging where pupils are making less progress than their prior attainment suggests. It also supports leaders to ensure that the quality of provision is effective and enables pupils to make strong progress in mathematics.

Animating the characters and backdrop scenes using adobe Illustrator and pulling it all
together using a combination of Illustrator and After Effects. A Powerpoint presentation was also made. The musical voiceover was added to in the testing and editing stages.
