Dartmoor’s best selling magazine. People, Places and Pursuits. Established in 1985, Dartmoor Magazine is an independent quarterly non-lifestyle magazine that looks at real life on Dartmoor, both past and present. Specialist contributors write about the Moor’s history, archaeology, wildlife, legends, characters and leisure activities; each issue also features a town or village review, walks, book reviews, In the News and Diary dates, plus news from Dartmoor National Park and the National Trust.

I was asked to produce both the Autumn and Winter 2018 issues while I was freelancing
between jobs. This was another exciting string to my bow as it was the first time for quite a few years since I last worked on a magazine. While the Editor showed confidence in me I immersed myself in general magazine layout thinking. Although restricted in some way I was still able to freely express myself in creating two highly enjoyable life-style magazines.
