ABOUT
Photography Workshop in Morocco with Erik Kessels (KesselsKramer), Tim Clark (1000 words magazine, see: ) and Michael Grieve.
The very first day I was taking pictures in Fez I realized that my point of view was wrong: I was snapping like a perfect turist, with no relation to the real life and people of the Medina.
After a first auto-critical review I decided to use as an input the strange double images (mather and son) picture to find a new way to draw the aim of the city.
The project that was born from this concept is literally a switch from myself into the real people of Fez, with the Medina's real daily life, doing this I not only lived Fez in its pure reality (not as a turist): I start socialize and knowing people and love their culture.
So different, so close.
