For my graduation i realised a project about the female figure and the discourse articulated around her in history up to the present day. This project stems from a desire to raise awareness about the subject of women and their discomfort at identifying themselves living in a society like ours full of prejudices and stereotyped figures. Too many episodes have revealed the precarious state of women, attributing humiliating and unjust abilities and roles. I was moved by contrasting feelings and the desire to be part of a "global sisterhood"; as an artist I wanted to express through my clothes what I feel about this theme. A source of great inspiration was the artist Tomaso Binga (Bianca Menna) who actively participated in the feminist uprisings and used her art as a social complaint.
