About me

Alejandra Armijo is a Latina editor from La Paz, Bolivia. In 2020, she was selected for an internship program at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Graduating from the American Film Institute in 2023 with a master's degree in film editing, Alejandra has two thesis films, "Bajo La Tierra", and "The Bullfighter," which achieved significant recognition, being showcased at EnergaCAMERIMAGE 2023 and selected to compete in the Palm Springs International Festival. Her work on "Skin" received the Gold Medal at the 2023 Student Academy Awards and was showcased at the Oslo Fusion International Film Festival.
