ABOUT

Despite its position at the top of the sports textiles industry and clients ranging from The FA, EFL, Manchester United, Manchester City and UEFA, Elms lacked a website that showcased its proposition to the world.

In May 2025, it was decided to begin work on a new website that could effectively articulate Elms' status as the leading textile services provider in the UK and beyond.

The brief was to hold up a mirror to the world of professional sport, and showcase the passion, artistry and creativity at the beating heart of the sporting industry. More than a mere manufacturer, the plan was to position Elms as a trusted, reliable and forward-looking partner for the world's biggest clubs, leagues and federations. In totality, the website should stand as the industry's best web presence.

After a round of pitches from web agencies, Cargo Creative was selected to devise and develop the new Elms website with close collaboration from Alec Ogden, Marketing Lead at Elms. Without an existing design language to follow and no marketing stack in place, a significant amount of early development was spent fine-tuning the brand positioning and styling, alongside considerations to functionality and scope.

The resulting website went live in April 2025 and has garnered highly positive feedback from clients and prospects. Through a dramatic expansion in content and scope, the new Elms website now features dedicated pages on our work across licensing, apparel, embellishment, heat presses, and dedicated product pages for our industry-leading techniques.

The new site also features case studies with prominent clients, updates on our company, and a fully featured About page that tells the Elms story to date.

With the goal of creating an industry-leading website met, the future of Elms looks brighter than ever.
