I am applying for the position of Junior Graphic Designer within your company as I feel my creative skills and background would be ideal for the role.
I have recently honed my creativity and eye for layout and design having just completed a three month position as Creative and Design Assistant at Rokkit, whilst completing my Graphic Design and Illustration degree at the University of Hertfordshire. This combination of work and education heavily relied upon my abilities to prioritise a large workload and multi-task a diverse range of tasks.
During my time at Rokkit I was given a wide range of responsibilities, including the opportunity to produce a six page advertisement for parent company Stink, to be featured in the Le Book 2012 creative directory. Under a one day deadline, this project exemplified my aptitude in design efficiency when working towards a specific brief for an established brand.
As a member of your team I would bring a confident and calm attitude, remaining driven and focused under pressure. Able to thrive in a creative environment, I am undaunted by working individually but am equally as comfortable collaborating with others.
My specific skillset, derived from a rich background in Graphic Design, Illustration and Videography is inclusive of a strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut and Microsoft Office.
I believe that my unique skills and experience would be ideal in fulfilling the needs of your company and the position available.
