About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

Having seen your advertisement I find myself impressed with your company, which offers a supreme quality product to its customers and opportunity for a fresh graduate. The training opportunity you will provide will enhance my technical skill. I am passionate and ambitious about my chosen carer and I am eager to start working towards my ultimate aim, which is to become a designer of unique furniture.

I am particularly interested in furniture design production and I am passionate and determined. I therefore have every belief that my achieved degree in Contemporary Furniture Design will benefit and allow me to achieve this ambition. I am Profoundly Deaf, something that I am proud of. I feel this disability has assisted me in my visual approach and creativity, as communication and understanding of art is visual.

I have experience of working in a team and feel joining your team would be a great privilege as I can learn and develop from your expertise.

Due to my hearing loss I am a very visual person with exceptional attention to detail. My deafness also mean I am naturally a good communicator by being extra vigilant. Although my disability has been a challenge in my academy journey, I was able to overcome this through hard work, commitment and use of support available to me. Attaining my qualification including a degree in Furniture Design is a proof of my determination. My deafness has been positive because this has made me to be more practical and hands on, which stimulated my passion for Furniture Design.

I am willing to compromise a lower salary as advertised. I hope my application will be given careful consideration.

Look forward to receiving your response.
