ABOUT
Concept
Girls into Tech was founded with a single, powerful mission: to close the gender gap in the technology industry by empowering young women with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to pursue careers in tech. Recognising the systemic barriers that prevent women particularly from underrepresented communities from accessing tech education and careers, our initiative set out to create an inclusive, supportive, and practical pathway into the digital economy.
Execution
To achieve our mission, we developed a two-pronged approach:
Free Bootcamps: We offer immersive, beginner-friendly bootcamps designed to teach real-world tech skills from coding to digital marketing alongside career coaching and mentorship. These bootcamps are hosted both in-person and virtually, making them accessible to participants regardless of location or background.
Ed-Tech Platform: Our online learning platform provides free, self-paced courses on tech topics such as web development, UI/UX design, and data analytics. The platform features interactive lessons, assessments, and a community forum to enhance peer support and engagement.
We also host regular webinars, workshops, and community challenges to maintain engagement and nurture long-term interest in tech careers.
Results
Since our launch, Girls into Tech has made a measurable impact:
Over 2,100 girls have participated in our programs to date.
We’ve built an active community of over 1,500 members, fostering peer mentorship, collaboration, and job opportunities.
Many alumni have gone on to pursue further education or secure entry-level roles and internships in the tech industry.
This initiative continues to grow organically through word of mouth, strategic partnerships, and the visible success of our alumni proof that when women are given the tools and support, they thrive in tech.
