ABOUT
AI filmmaking experiment.
A short cinematic study exploring how generative video tools can be directed within a traditional filmmaking workflow.
This piece was created as a case study to explore how emerging generative media tools can be integrated into a cinematic storytelling process. The idea was to translate a simple narrative concept into a sequence of AI generated shots, then shape the story through editing, sound design and pacing.
The project explores a key question: how can generative media be directed rather than simply generated?
Instead of treating AI outputs as finished clips, the workflow focused on iterating prompts, selecting consistent visual moments and shaping continuity through editing. Sound design and rhythm were used to reinforce narrative beats and emotional pacing.
The intention was to approach generative tools in the same way a filmmaker approaches raw footage, shaping tone, rhythm and meaning through direction and montage.
This short piece explores an emerging workflow where generative video, creative direction and traditional editing come together to build cinematic storytelling.
