ABOUT
Background
///
Mackenzie & George are a small team of artisan fashion designers, aspiring to break into the high end country lifestyle market. Up against the likes of Burberry and hundreds of well established country fashion labels, they approached me to help redefine their identity and position them at the top end of the market. Their product lines were simple, elegant and designed with precision and quality.
Process
///
Their original logo was a stag silhouette, but it was too generic. I began the process by re-styling the stag logo. With much of their brand application using embossing onto leather, I developed it further to simplify the symbol.
Following logo approval, I began to craft a brand strategy and develop and look, feel and tone, that communicated their key values of simplicity and elegance. I then put the assets to good use in a seasonal catalogue and materials for country shows and exhibitions.
