Located in one of London’s most popular locations, the Royal Borough of Greenwich, the scheme comprises of four distinct neighbourhoods integrated seamlessly into one community. These include: The Village Centre (Birch House, Centrum Court and Agora Court), Meridian Gate, Blackheath Quarter and City Point.

Air Design’s wayfinding and signage scheme needed to effectively connect the Berkeley Group’s iconic residential schemes with the retail, offices, F&B, green spaces, local culture and art pieces within the London streetscape. Air Design were also challenged with the task to add value to the Berkeley Groups developed real estate by providing the residents with beautiful and connected spaces in which they have the freedom and ease to enjoy living in.

The Result:

Air Design has helped the Berkeley Group bring to life their vision of producing a world class public realm for London.

Kidbrooke Village has been awarded Best Placemaking at Sunday Times British
Home Awards and Best Sustainable Development and Best Regeneration Scheme by
Whathouse. Air Design was also awarded gold for the Wayfinding and Signage of Kidbrooke Village at the Transform Awards 2020.

The vibrant wayfinding and signage design scheme capture the development’s unique character and brand identity whilst comfortably unifying its natural and built environments. The wayfinding and signage complements with the beautiful greenery and vibrant nature that the development is surrounded by and contributes to the relaxing, tranquil, and warm tone that is permeating throughout which thus creates a positive living environment for it’s residents.
