About me

I have been working in the city for almost three years now since the age of 18 straight from college. I have worked in an office environment, answering phones booking meeting rooms, diary management, booking flights and accommodation and all aspects of office administrator and PA roles. I have attached my CV for a more detailed spec of my duties.

After much thought and research I feel that the route I wish to head in is interior design as I have such a passion for decorating and home improvements.

I have always loved every aspect of decororating even from a young age when my parents would decorate a room and I would give them my input of what they should do to it or buy to make it look better, and I am frustrated at myself that I have not made a career out of yet until now, as I have always had the thought in my mind of working in the city working in an office, but I am still young and have time to go to college and get the qualifications I need to achieve my ambition of becoming an Interior designer.

I watch all D.I.Y, property ladder , and home improvement programmes and feel that I can do it so much better, every home I go to I rearrange furniture and help with design ideas, this is my passion and I want to pursue it.

I live with my partner and I have decorated each room on my own, I love the feeling of making your house a home and making it look beautiful not just liveable, I love coming home to a beautifully decorated and designed house and being so proud of my self for achieving it.

I am looking to start in a company as a junior part time so I can go to college one day a week (my course starts next year) and get the qualifications I need to become a successful interior designer as well as working at the same time and getting the experience I need.
