Antoine Nessi presents today in his work entitled “ A Workplace”, is an installation taking the form of a collection: a collection of ghosts. Ghosts haunting the setting of a mythical workshop. A workshop of the past. A small semi-traditional factory, consigned to oblivion by the industrial era. He uses what can be found in an industrial workshop. Pretending he returns to the origins of sculpture, of cast iron, of the figure, he constitutes a kind of summary which declines all the advances that have been introduced in it during an eventful 20th century.
