This was a significant project for TalentSage whereby myself and a team member re-invented the visual look and feel of TalentSage's product tools. TalentSage help individuals increase their interpersonal effectiveness, and organizations develop their talent insights using their learning ecosystem and smart tools. 

The tools are highly complex, multi-faceted and require a visual approach where simplicity cuts through complexity without detriment to the detail and uniqueness of the tools themselves.

We worked very closely with TalentSage as the visual identities for their suite of tools evolved. The process was highly iterative in order to make time and space for listening, designing and evolving so that on the one hand we didn't over-engineer the solution (and hence didn't overspend on the budget), and on the other hand, working in an iterative way ensured that we could design the solution in a highly relevant and effective way, and there were no surprises later down the line for either party. Regular video meetings and phone calls, followed up by emails and chat ensured that we were all on the same page throughout the journey.

From the very outset we spent time considering the logic surrounding the tools and how they worked as a suite, as well as individually. We then built up a framework of visual hierarchy that these tools sat within so that we could create tiers of visual solutions. 

A pragmatic and flexible solution was designed for TalentSage whereby we suggested a package of final designs that would fit all purposes across print, digital and mobile needs.

We have focused on using a combination of various shapes in simplified forms that have inferred meaning beyond the aesthetics of the shapes themselves to create elegant, colourful, and engaging visuals which also have a strong design logic behind them to support the purpose and function behind each tool. 

From favicons to complex infographics, the suite is fast-becoming an end-to-end visual toolbox that TalentSage can rely on to effectively communicate their unique offerings - demonstrating complex sophistication through elegant simplicity. 

The animations shows a multimedia interaction in progress where a user can interact with the tools on TalentSage's website to discover the multiple layers within.
