In Brazil, men who had sex with other men are forbidden by law to donate blood. Millions of liters of blood wasted due to prejudice. To raise awareness to this situation, we created Wasted Blood. A movement to spark a serious discussion about the prohibition and prejudice. The campaign started with a truck that we filled with thousands of blood bags. The exact amount of blood bags Brazil could have if it wasn’t for the law. We took the truck to the streets carrying an important message printed on its side: “Brazil wastes more than a truck full of blood every day due to prejudice”.
