NOTE: The artworks are executed in oil on canvas of varying dimensions (smallest 30x40 cm, largest 150x120cm). This project is a proposal for an art gallery's consideration to exhibit it in its space or for funding the exhibition based on commission on sales.

The project is an invitation for the viewer to consider the human condition in the age of Artificial Intelligence. This series of paintings depict images from the current and previous centuries, unrelated to each other at first glance but acting as signals and reminders of the frailty of human life and its devaluation. A cinematic approach is preferable in viewing and treating the exhibition as a singular artistic manifestation, a visual narrative in which the paintings are scenes from an unbroken story line.

Note from the artist: The series is a move away from a dramatic, surreal approach towards painting. Instead I have tried to depict the images in a realistic manner similar to a documentary, ignoring academic theories on values, palette and composition. Most of the paintings are done in one sitting adding a performative element to the creative process.
