Roots is my directorial debut. Shot on a £50 Canon 500D and a couple of cheap lenses I found in the loft at my dad's house, it is a story of schizophrenic hallucinations, speculations on what the root causes for our emotional issues could be, and coming to terms with the realization that the truth doesn't always set you free.
