About me

Dear Sir/Madam, I am currently employed for a multi-disclipline agency on the Isle of Wight, called Intelligent Marketing (formerly im design), as a senior web designer and am earning £27,000 p.a., although I am very flexible about salary.

My main roles include creative web concepts, site architecture, working on proposals and pitches, sitemaps, presenting ideas to clients and overseeing a web and flash developer.

I am looking for a more challenging role than I have at present as my current position has no scope for growth.

Although I have a print background, and have an excellent knowledge of print, print finishes and printing processes and have a keen eye for detail, I have spent the last 3 years designing websites for a broad range of clients and sectors, and have worked on several government, and local authority websites and intranets as well as several e-commerce sites. Although I am not a programmer I have a comprehensive understanding of web based technologies, site design, site architecture and functionality as well as current web compliance standards, accessibility laws, CSS and XHTML.

I work well under pressure, am 100% committed and can work to tight deadlines and budgets.

Although I live on the Island my previous agency was in Hook, Hampshire, to which I commuted each day, so I'm used to hopping over the Solent.
