If diagnosed at an early stage, bowel cancer can be treated very successfully in over 90% of cases. In spite of this, bowel cancer remains the UK’s second biggest cancer killer, claiming a life every half an hour.
My friend Kristina Marshall (medical copywriter) lost her father because of a bowel cancer treated too late. We therefore decided to create this campaign to make people realise how easy it is to prevent it and to make them realise how important it is to be treated on time.
With Frontera’s support we then submitted our work to cancer research UK and two other charity companies.
