MUTO - Saving Space

Introduction

Due to changing demographics and living patterns in the United Kingdom domestic space is increasingly an issue; this related to the growing demand for housing/property and the spiraling surge in property values.

The aim of my research is to investigate the problems around storage space and come up with a range of designs that will benefit the living area such as the communal area and the resting room.
The goal will be to save maximum space in a habitat for example, by creating moving walls and compact furniture that can also have additional purposes.


Project Brief

To identify recurring problems with space in a household and then to overcome this matter by generating a range of concepts that will benefit the householder. To make his/her life style easier and fulfill the quality of living space.

This project will identify an aspect of this and address the associated issues.
