I was commissioned to create some illustrations for Waitrose Food magazine to go alongside a few articles within it. The first set were to be instructional illustrations showing how to make scones. I was given the recipe and instructions and asked to pick out the important steps and illustrate them, showing just the hands and ingredients.

Another illustration was needed to go alongside an interview with a chef, bringing out one of the ingredients he mentions in the questions, in this case a brocolli and chilli.

The final illustration was needed for an article on 'Five things to do this July'. Some wellies were needed to promote a farm festival. The colours needed to compliment the rest of the article.
