TOMY are offering you the chance to create a new brand identity and packaging for their exciting range of ‘Big Farm’ toys. The winning entrant will see their design used for the new 2014 range of products and also receive £1000 and a two week internship with TOMY!

Background Information
Having recently become a part of TOMY, Britains farm toys is now looking to redesign it’s ‘Big Farm’ packaging aimed at children 3 years plus.

Britains is a leading farm machinery 1:32 scale model manufacturer/distributor with a strong following in the diecast collectors sector and children aged 4 to 7 who live in rural areas.
Big Farm was introduced in 2008 and offers an exciting range of 1:16 plastic scale model tractors, vehicles and accessories, many of which also have lights and sounds for added play value, aimed at children aged 3 to 5 years old.

We are now keen to brand the range as TOMY to increase it’s exposure worldwide.

Brand Positioning & Personality
Currently Britains is a name well known in the UK market however as a European toy brand, it is largely unrecognized.

By reinforcing the TOMY brand on the Big Farm range we hope be able to increase our market share with consumers who already know and trust the brand.

• Product must be clearly visible
• Packaging must be stackable
• ‘Try me’ or other call to action but be present

Requirements
• Design a new Big Farm logo that could be implemented across a range of media including packaging, web, catalogues and trade stands
• Create a new packaging design – considerations should be made for how this design would translate to different sized products or accessories
