ABOUT
WondHERland, an all-female music collective from Nottingham, partnered with artist Shezad Dawood to create Desire Lines, a podcast and sound immersion series in response to Dawood's art installation, HMS Alice Liddell, in St. Pancras Station. The sculpture blends re-imagined Victorian, Neo-Gothic and futuristic styles and the podcasts explore themes of Escapism, Femininity, and Transformation. The project was commissioned by HS1 Ltd. A visual consultant and graphic designer attended weekly creative sessions and designed the zine and podcast art, reflecting topics like womanhood, love, growth, self-exploration, and identity.
As a designer, I gathered all of the elements, I then created a modern take on 1960s psychedelic rock posters and kaleidoscopic imagery to represent new pathways to self-discovery. I used soft, bright, scribbled gradients to youth and self care.
