Commissioned by the BBC: designing podcast art for "Natives - Natives: Race and Class in the Ruins of Empire". I was commissioned by the BBC to create a design that accurately represented the themes and ideas explored in the podcast. "Natives - Natives: Race and Class in the Ruins of Empire" is a powerful exploration of identity and the impact of colonialism on modern society. I wanted to create a design that was both eye-catching and full of depth.
I drew inspiration from Akala's own experiences and the themes explored in the book. I wanted the bold typography to draw the eye and capture the attention of potential listeners. It was an honour to work on a project that sheds light on important issues and encourages significant cultural conversations.
