Logarithmic Loud speaker enclosure or Nautilus was the first speaker enclosure built. The key point to the design was to absorb the rear waves from the speaker driver.
This was made form Birch ply, and hand made and NO CNC equipment used. Many custom jigs were made to help achieve the overall shape.
The enclosure consists of 112 discs, every one different in inner and outer diameter.
In hindsight this is a homage to Laurence Dickie. He created Bower & Wilkins flagship speaker, Nautilus.
