As a designer with Dyspraxia I felt the need to focus a project on this disability. This project worked as a conceptual awareness campaign for Dyspraxia, which is a developmental coordination disorder that affects planning of movements and coordination due to brain messages not being accurately transmitted to correct parts of the body. Having this condition makes others and myself appear somewhat clumsy and uncoordinated, I tend to drop things, bump into people and trip over. Creating awareness of Dyspraxia I created a series of website mock-ups for a potential website, with each page featuring a capital letter as a design element but also as the beginning letter of a characterising symptom of Dyspraxia. Along with each page I accompanied a series of product mock-ups that culminate in a project focused on celebrating a lesser known condition that effects the daily life of those with Dyspraxia.
