With copy, and a message already provided, I was briefed to create imagery that reflected the ‘Away from home?’ message. My idea came from the thought that if you were ‘away from home,’ you were away from your natural environment. So my response was to create images based on displacing some of the ‘Big Five’ that exist in Jo’Burg.
Adrian Johnson was commissioned to create the final illustrations.
