We really wanted to create an opportunity to showcase and push our abilities. This self-initiated project offered just that. We built 'Yoshi' a papercraft phoenix, who measures almost a metre in height. Each of his many feathers was handcut to create a highly detailed model, which we then shot (and filmed the photoshoot), before editing the images and footage. We chose a phoenix as seeing one is said to be incredibly lucky in various folklore.
