Concept: First is the rough sketch I sent to the publisher.

Execution: Here is the completed artwork. It was done in pen and ink on paper and colored in Photoshop. The "Game Maker" text is custom made in Adobe Illustrator.

Final Results: The publisher requested the James Naismith figure in the clouds be replaced with the older version of the character. Here's the final artwork.
