ABOUT
"You’re probably standing on something by Boral without even knowing it."
For Boral's 80th anniversary, we faced a unique challenge: how do you connect people emotionally to concrete? The answer was simple: film the life that happens on top of it.
This campaign signalled Boral's ambition for a sustainable future by living it in the present. We utilised a highly sustainable production model and local talent to tell a human story for a brand with a massive industrial legacy. It takes confidence for a company as big as Boral to speak this softly, celebrating its impact through the lives of the Australians they support.
Green Production: Solar-powered gear, recycled wardrobes, and locations within a 5km radius.
Local Talent: Directed by Rhys Day, with an original score by Luna Pan.
Authentic Casting: To capture genuine emotion, we cast the daughter of 3rdspace founder Rob Logan and her grandparents, capturing authentic family interactions.
Achieved a total carbon footprint of just 0.15 tCO2e—a 98% reduction compared to the AdGreen average.
"To capture 80 years of history is no small feat, but the 3rdspace team created magic. We are incredibly proud of this campaign; it celebrates our past and future in a way that feels genuine and new." said Ben Wylde, Head of Brand, Communications and Marketing at Boral.
