Part of being a designer is constantly pushing what you know so you may learn new skills. In my spare time I create, just to practice techniques I wouldn't otherwise use on a day-to-day-basis, as well as to blow off some creative steam. Ultimately it is about learning new skills whilst having fun at the same time.
