RD Content London

ABOUT

The Brief

Barbour and Barbour International required a content agency to create videos across 9 ranges of clothing for their seasonal campaigns. Ultimately, with the various versions required for Instagram, in-store, B2B and other social media platforms over 350 individual videos would need to be outputted.

The Solution

We began by establishing the key brand motivations and target audiences alongside Barbour. From this, we built storyboards and mood films that showed how we visualised their key brand messages coming to life. We worked with London’s top model agencies to find a wide variety of models who had the perfect Barbour look. Locations, across the country, were sourced, including blocking off some of the busiest parts of London for two days and getting aerial permission over one of the UKs most beautiful forests.

The ambitious nature of the productions meant that extremely complex scheduling and logistics were required across the shoot. With multiple teams working with different models in various locations across London at any one time. Ancillary content was also created for the campaign, including profiles of relevant characters who personify the brand. These shot documentaries would be used to help expand the campaigns reach and extend the life of the campaign and allow the brand to continue its conversation with its customers for a longer period of time.

The Results

The content has been utilised across a huge range of platforms and has been described internally as the ‘best representation of the brand to date’ by the CEO. Engagements with customer have increased dramatically as well.
