It all started with an unexpected message from Luma Pictures, the VFX studio behind films like Doctor Strange, Deadpool, and Spider-Man.
"Your originality, simplicity and style really caught our eye."
Those words came from Hugo Sands, Culture Coordinator at Luma. They were looking for an artist to illustrate their crew t-shirts – exclusive visuals created for the teams working behind the scenes of blockbuster productions.
My work for DC Comics (Batman) and my personal illustrations caught their attention. The idea: to create custom artwork for each film in production. A simple, expressive line to reflect the energy of their teams.
