Pointblank Elevates Creative Offering with Three Additions to Photography Roster

Published

Global production company Pointblank Productions has announced the expansion of its photography division with the addition of three new photographers. Pointblank opened its photography division in October 2014 when nine photographers were signed to the original roster. Their photography branch has since expanded and now includes 13 internationally recognised and up-and-coming photographers.

The new talent includes Parisian Marc Da Cunha Lopes and Americans Chris Clor and Chris Opel, who are based in London and Switzerland respectively.  All three photographers will be represented by Pointblank’s Kevin Moore, Film and Photography Agent.

The artists’ photography and photo-illustrations have been commissioned by a number of brands including Coca-Cola, Nike, Johnson & Johnson, Audi and Vogue, and their work has appeared in some of the world’s most visible publications as well as the Rabouan Moussion gallery in Paris.

Moore commented: “At Pointblank we are thrilled to expand our group of photographers to serve our wide range of clients within the commercial markets. With a total of 13 talented photographers signed to our roster, we continue to raise the bar in terms of our creative output.”

Pointblank represents a range of artists including Directors, Animators, Filmmakers and Visual Effects talent.

About the photographers*

Marc Da Cunha Lopes

Marc Da Cunha Lopes has shot advertising campaigns for international brands such as Nike, Fiat, Peugeot and Sony PlayStation. His personal work has been exhibited in Rabouan Moussion gallery in Paris.

Chris Clor

Award-winning photographer and photo-illustrator Chris Clor has spent his career as a visual communicator specialising in conceptual, portrait and product photography. His imaginative, evocative style blends analogue and digital techniques to produce strikingly cinematic imagery with wit and a strong flair for storytelling. A leading talent in photo illustration, Chris’ recognisable style, professionalism and easy-going personality make him a favourite with clients around the world. A strong sense of composition, lighting and colour results in high impact imagery for his clients.

Chris Opel

Chris Opel was a major part of the Seattle movement that spawned the term “grunge,” taking pictures of people such as Kurt Cobain and Paris Hilton. His early work in the Paris and Milan fashion markets had him working as an editorial photographer for magazines such as Vogue, Elle and Cosmopolitan. Shortly after 9/11 Chris turned his eye back towards photographing his friends, acquaintances, models and actors during road trips and time spent together travelling. His back-to-basics mentality compliments his speed on set – capturing images quickly and living in the moment. Chris stays tuned to these moments with camera in hand, and it is not uncommon that while his assistants are setting up he has already captured a few shots, which more often than not end up being the client’s favourites.
