Here is a trend report of looks street style photographer Pat Lyttle, of JSTREETSTYLE. These images were all shot by myself in Tokyo during Fashion Week early 2023. Fashion in Tokyo and around other cities in Japan like Osaka, is dominated by what's seen and spotted on the streets. It is created by those expressing their individuality through their style, and many or most looks are unique and are created by the individuals. Others may well be wearing some of the well established fashions from the many style tribes, or fashion genre's Japan has. Japan has more style tribes than anywhere in the world, and these are constantly changing and evolving. Often they may use well known western sub cultures, but expressed in a totally unique way on th e streets of Tokyo. Street style in Tokyo is simply amazing, and more so during fashion week.
