Given an opportunity to work with beautiful performance imagery I wanted to transfer the idea of dance formation into the design. I experimented with the typography to create a dynamic composition combining the dancers and the numbers of the new year. As a result beyond being just ciphers an impression of jumping into, around, and withing the year 2016 arised - and that is a great feeling to have starting a new year.
