I was requested by Brian Fetherstonhaugh, Paul O'donnell, Mike Dodds/Annette King to be the Founding Partner to set up from scratch Ogilvy's London Digital Innovation Lab in Feb '08 (assisted by sasha dunn). One of 6 Digital Innovation Labs around the world, that are continuously sharing & have monthly calls (Bejing, Singapore, New York, San Paulo, Tokyo).The physical lab space was launched in london July '08. I'm currently planning the 2nd lab in london at Ogilvy's Westbourne Terrace Office, due to hopefully launch May 2010.
Jan 2010 - see's me as part of a new division across Ogilvy London's 12 Group companies, called Business Acceleration & Innovation - which involves me in business ventures, partnerships & experiences. I, along with rory sutherland (Ogilvy london's vice chairman) was voted at Number 94 (rory number 52) in WiredUK magazines top 100 UK digital movers & shakers. Only two of us, both at Ogilvy, who are from a traditional advertising agency group - onwards & upwards....
