About me
Mukondi Ralushayi Kgomo is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Think Creative Africa, a through-the-line agency that was ranked the 2023 Loeries number 1 small agency in Africa and The Middle East. An alumna of Harvard Business School in Creating Brand Value, GIBS Business School in Strategic Leadership, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Strategic Brand Communication from Vega.
Mukondi was named the 2022 Financial Mail Adfocus Shapeshifter of the Year, was included in the 2020 Mail & Guardian Young 200 South Africans and was the 2023 President of the Pendoring Awards Jury.
Mukondi began her career fourteen years ago as a copywriter at Ogilvy Johannesburg then moved to FCB Africa where she worked on multiple blue-chip brands before venturing into the entrepreneurship world. She has won numerous advertising awards and served as a judge for local and international award shows such as The Clio Awards, ADC Young Guns, Ad Stars, Creative Circle, Loeries, Pendorings and Cannes Young Lions. She is known for having created some of South Africa's most loved ads including Coca-Cola's Bobby commercial, which became best practice in over 90 countries, but she regards her finest achievement as the impact work she gets to make on society through projects like The Feel Party, which she co-founded to bring
awareness to breast cancer. Inspired by her daughters love for play, she founded an organisation that installs free, safe playgrounds for children in underserved communities. In addition,
Mukondi's philanthropic work spans fifteen years, from raising funds for school kids, volunteering at a hospice, supporting various charities, mentoring young women and partnering with NGOs and Social Enterprises.
Through her passion for improving women's lives, Mukondi also co-founded Milq, a wearable, low-noise, hands-free breast pump that provides moms the freedom to pump anywhere, anytime.
