The new PaintPod developed by Dulux required a whole range of packaging which included its box, the special paint tin, various accessories, and a variety of marketing material. I was involved at artwork stage for this project, which was created using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
The retouching proved to be a major part of this project because the PaintPod device was constantly being developed and altered during the design process. This meant that it was necessary to add new accessories or control panels into existing imagery, on all aspects of the marketing/packaging material.
I was required to create print-ready artwork that adhered to strict printer specifications for various different print-processes (litho, flexo) while upholding the corporate brand guidelines of Dulux and AkzoNobel to ensure consistency across the PaintPod range.
