At an early age I was interested in design and branding, with a slightly worrying obsession with my trusty Lego set. Nothing was too daunting or to great a task and in my mind the outcome of any project was a masterpiece in its own right...or so I thought anyway. I enjoyed the process of design and in particular the branding of the things I created. The pride of my drawing collection at the age of 8 was a wad of writing paper held together with a piece of wool that illustrated 100 cars of the future along with their brand names and reason for being. This was the beginning of my creative path that I have enjoyed for the past 20 years which started in London with a small firm called Peter Leonard Associates and led to the more illustrious Fitch & Co and Rodney Fitch and to my current role in 1HQ. 1HQ will become a new type of Brand Agency and inspired me to write and publish my first
