This month sees the launch of MBA’s first major advertising campaign to promote Investec Click & Invest in the lead up to ISA season. The campaign showcases Investec’s new online investment service as a pioneer in the robo advisor space.
Click & Invest offers clients the convenience and ease of an online service, with the knowledge that their money is being actively managed by a team of experts, not algorithms.
The new service is available to investors with £10,000 or more to invest, but reliant on the same principles and expertise offered by Investec Wealth & Investment. The service is simple, intuitive and transparent. The campaign is designed to be distinctive and differentiating whilst communicating the benefits of the service. Investec Click & Invest opens the door to investing - the new campaign makes a bold statement of intent, spiritedly challenging the status quo with its clever wordplay.
The campaign is comprised of a series of memorable headlines, including ‘Click not Clique’, ‘Different not Indifferent’ Intelligent experts not Artificial Intelligence’ and ‘Up to date not Dated’. By demanding attention and intrigue at the same time, the campaign impels the reader to find out more.
Click & Invest officially launched in June last year. Up until now MBA has worked with the Click & Invest team to build and design the service’s website, develop a content strategy, CRM infrastructure, and early digital communications.
Cream UK and Agenda21 have been responsible for media planning and buying offline and online respectively. The campaign will run in London for three months across digital outdoor, display and social channels, as well as in national press and on station cross tracks. With media spaces mirroring the campaign’s bold statement, we will see high profile transport advertising sites across London including the Clapham Colossus – the largest backlit rail space in the UK.
May Auster, Head of Marketing for Click & Invest commented: “Click & Invest appeals to a wide range of investors, from novices to the more experienced, all of whom have the comfort of knowing that we have been looking after clients’ investments for over 180 years. We believe that investment expertise should be available without compromise and online investing should be no different.”
