I interviewed documentary-maker Matt Wolf on his modernist masterpiece 'I Remember'. Subsequently, the article acts as an accompaniment to Wolf's biographical documentation about artist and poet Joe Brainard, narrated by Brainard’s best friend, poet Ron Padgett.

And interestingly in its presentation, it reads as a monologue, Wolf's own motivated, direct speech. This shift in perspective produces, as I see it, a different kind of reception from its audience.
