LEAP renews post-production partnership for live virtual UK Music Video Awards

Published by

The UKMVAs have been showcasing the best of British and global music video making talent since 2008. From the very beginning, LEAP’s moving image team have been a key part of the event. In 2020, the UKMVAs will go ahead as live virtual awards ceremony, and LEAP’s post-production services remain at the heart of the show.

UKMVA Event Director Louise Stevens says, “The team at LEAP has outdone itself this year – it’s our biggest show ever in terms of the number of categories and the number of videos they’ve had to manage, but LEAP has delivered a great set of packages with some new design elements for 2020. We may not be able to be together at the Roundhouse this year, but the UKMVA production remains top-notch thanks to our partnership with LEAP”.

Working closely with the UKMVA team and art directors StudioThomson, LEAP’s motion graphics editors create the video packages for more than 35 categories and edit the opening montage. LEAP’s investment in secure virtual server technology and producer-managed remote editing workflows ensures the post-production process runs smoothly and no spoilers are leaked.

DJ/Presenter Becca Dudley will host the 2020 awards with viewers brought together through Innovate Live’s ‘audience virtual wall technology’. Creators and fans of the music video industry are invited to get tickets by midday Wednesday 4th for exclusive access to the UKMVAs on November 5th at 7:30 GMT.

Get in touch with a LEAP producer about your production and post needs. Visit the UKMVA site for tickets and the list of shortlisted nominees.
