...As part of the ‘All New Transpennine Express' rebranding campaign, WCRS wanted to create a 3D star concept that worked well with the brands identity and would feature prominently in their Out Of Home and Digital Campaigns. They hired me to develop the Star Concept in a 2D design; working closely with the client to explore variations of shape and colour that reflected the brand.
I then developed the 2D Star concept as a 3D model, working with Art Director to achieve the correct lighting and material finishes that would allow the star to have a sense of movement and life; to feature as the heart of the campaign. By creating the concept in 3D meant that we could meet tight deadlines and it allowed us easily manipulate the 3D Model to be rendered at a high resoloution from a series of different angles.
The Rendered images were retouched by myself and then composited onto beautifully shot images of various cities around the U.K.
