ABOUT
The premises of the project was to be informative in terms of a singular painting I created, and the target audience was my social media audience especially those on Instagram as a lot of my followers are watercolour enthusiast.
The project was an over two and half days worth of work, taking three to four hours of filming all the content including b-roll and painting the landscape, the voice over and editing took a day as it was primarily based on scripting and recording the sound bites at reasonable time during the day, and the final was export and uploading during a peek time which for me was mid day.
During between this time a short "teaser" was released for upcoming video, which was more for what everyone could expect as well as the quality of the filming, which encouraged people to anticipate the final product.
The result of the project was a short video covering materials, resources, what to consider when tackling a landscape drawing and how not to be discouraged when things go to plan as a lot of the time i do get asked how to over come creative blocks, how to start painting and what sort of resources i mostly use for this sort of situation.
This video overall was created for the viewer to answer common FAQ's and establish a neutral ground, painting something simple and really just understanding how watercolour paints are used and using different examples of technique to achieve a particular result with a already sold goal.
