Accountancy incorporated many detailed surveys and complex financial illustrations. My role was to make this information both visually appealing and clearer to understand, while incorporating these elements into the overall design. This required me to read and understand the examples in the first instance, and to understand how the data could be sorted and presented in an appropriate fashion.
Sometimes this was achieved in a more straightforward manner with graphs and tables, and sometimes I took a more lighthearted approach using infographics. I also became pretty adept at spotting any inconsistencies or errors in the process.
